And I just want it as easy as possible with little to no hazards and little current. Willing to drive a ways from the north metro to get it done. WebPontoons typically require 2 to 3 feet of water to float properly. That means that if there are less than 2 feet of water where you’ll be fishing or cruising around, don’t expect your pontoon to float very well. Keep in mind, though, that this is just an average; each brand and style may vary.
