One of the first changes I made was to remove them, I have no use for them, they just add wind noise and make it harder to clean the roof as well as remove snow, options from the spec sheet on mine. :wink.

The picture you attached is not the OEM roof rack, at least not here in the US. I don't have any experience with the Thule rack you mentioned since I prefer to put my bike in the car.

If you're only planning to install a ski/snowboard rack the factory bars will be fine. My newly acquired '11 Sienna has the factory cross bars, which look nice, but my impression is that the Thule crossbars on my Odyssey are stronger.
