Fusion 360 why are some lines blue
WebFeb 15, 2024 · Hello all, just did some simple sketch with curves and created a drawing. All my geometry lines show as dotted lines instead of a solid line font. Apologize if I missed it in forum. Thanks. WebThis tutorial teaches you how and why to fully-define your sketches in Fusion 360. This is a foundational concept that all beginners must learn if you want t...

WebJun 22, 2024 · Just FYI - green geometry means "fixed", which is the same as "fully constrained" (black), just that they are fixed using the fix/unfix command, so don't need constraints and dimensions. The green lines are not your problem, the blue ones are. In this case, this arc is under-constrained. Adding a dimension will fix the arc: Jeff Strater WebOct 30, 2024 · The horizontal crossbar should be blue as well, but isn't. The originator of that sketch (which I simplified) says that he horizontal crossbar is, or was at one point, constrained to go through the midpoint of the long, blue, rightmost vertical line. But I don't see any evidence of that currently.

WebJul 4, 2024 · @TheCADWhispereras you can see on the attached file (sketch 'hull walls top'), I cannot get the curved bow lines to become fully constrained even when I use the Fix constraint. And I do not know how to dimension the curved bow lines and maybe that is the problem. FYI, I made one curved line first then mirrored it.
WebSo green lines are "locked in place", blue are "unconstrained" and black (or white) are "fully constrained". CAD fanatics will tell you your whole sketch has to be white (ie. fully constrained), but sometimes it's a PITA and doing it quick and dirty will get you as far. bohemian unique wedding dressesbohemian vacation dressesWebJan 17, 2024 · Mario automata.ipt. 01-23-2024 07:52 AM. you need to make sure you are creating closed loop profiles rather than just creating lines. try using the rectangle tool rather than line tool so you know for a fact you're working with closed loops.
